Outreach to other organizations, professionals and clients is being done. Much of this is in the form of presentations to committees or groups. We have offered continuing education training for professional in the medical, counseling, psychology and social work fields. In addition, an orientation to new refugees has been an integral part of outreach as well as assistance to clients.
Often during regular consultation/collaboration, additional outreach occurs during the acquisition of services for clients. As one service is accessed, another service is introduced to what we do at our facility.
